We welcome you to join us for 'SA Gin Trail' across Plant 3 and Plant 4 as we celebrate the finest gins from across the state. 

 

 

When: Saturday 14th September 2024

Time: 5pm-11.30pm

Gin tastings & eateries open from 5pm-9pm.

Bar & DJ until 11.30pm

 

Where: SA Gin Trail will be held across both Plant 3 & Plant 4 Bowden

 

Tickets: $25 + Booking Fee.

Upon entry, all ticket holders will receive a glass as well as a SA Gin Trail map & booklet with information about participating distilleries. Guests can then 'follow' the gin tasting trail around Plant 3 and Plant 4 visiting all of the SA Gin Distilleries and enjoy all the tastings. Buy a takeaway bottle from any of the SA Distilleries, or enjoy a Gin and Tonic from from The Plant 4 Gin Bar which will feature a variety of gins from the participating distilleries.

 

Our delicious and multicultural eateries across Plant 3 & Plant 4 will be open so be sure to come with empty bellies.

We are pleased to welcome the following South Australian distilleries - 36 Short, Applewood Distillery, Fiction Distilling, Five Eleven Distilling, Happenstance Distillery, Little Juniper Distilling, Long Way Round Distilling Co., Prohibition Liquor Co., Seppeltsfield Road Distillery, Two Cats Distillery & Webb Spirit Co.  

 

DJ Tommy Tequila will be playing keeping you groovin in Plant 4 until late so be sure to bring your dancing shoes along! (gin always makes you a better dancer)

Where can I purchase tickets? 

Tickets can be purchased through Humanitix. Click the link above or below.

What does my SA GIN TRAIL ticket include?

Access to the finest gin South Australia has to offer! Upon check-in, you’ll receive your tasting glass and Plant 3 and 4 Map so you can enjoy sampling a huge range of specialised flavours and incredible mixes of gin produced in our great state.

You can sample the gin range from from each of the distilleries and purchase their gin by the bottle. The Plant 4 Gin Bar will be selling G&Ts all day long. (Local beer, wine and cider from Plant 3 & Plant 4 bars).

 

Please note that only selected Gin and Tonics will be available from each distillery through the Plant 4 Gin bar.

 

After completing your Plant 3 and 4 Tasting Map, DJs will play across both venues until 11.30pm.

Where do I check-in?

The Check-In Point will be inside the Plant 4 main entrance which faces Bowden Park.

How long will the event run for?

Kick-off at 5pm with gin tasting until 9pm. The distilleries and food stalls will close at 9pm, but the Plant 4 Bars will remain open until 11.30pm, along with DJs in both Plant 3 and 4.

What if I get hungry?

We’ve got you covered! Enjoy some incredibly delicious food to keep you steady from our Plant 3 and 4 eateries until 9pm.

What if I break my glass, can I get a replacement?

All SA GIN TRAIL ticket holders will receive one glass for tastings. If you misplace, or break your glass, an additional one can be purchased for $15. Please note there will be limited glasses available.

Will there be entertainment?

Of course! You can sip your gin to live DJ sets in both Plant 3 and Plant 4.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Plant 3 and 4 is a family venue. However, the SA GIN TRAIL is not recommend for under 18’s. ID may be requested at check-in and at service areas.

 

​

Are tickets available for purchase at the door?

In the case that tickets do not sell out prior to the event, a limited number of tickets will be available at the door.

 

​

Will there be an ATM onsite?

There’s an ATM located inside IGA Bowden if you need some extra dollars, but EFTPOS is available.

 

Can I leave and come back?

You can, but you may not be guaranteed re-entry if we’re at full capacity.

What’s the refund policy?

This is a non-refundable event.

 

​

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

A printed ticket or mobile QR code ticket is acceptable. No ticket, no entry policy.

 

​

What if I have purchased multiple tickets under my name?

Everyone will have their name checked-off the guest list. You will need to escort your friends into the event if you have purchased multiple tickets under your name.

Where are the bars and is seating available?

Bars are located on the ground floor and upstairs in Plant 4. Seating will be available upstairs, outside and in Plant 3. Need to make a pit-stop, you’ll find toilets both downstairs and upstairs in Plant 4 too. These will all be indicated on your venue map.

What are my transport / parking options for getting to and from the event?

Drink responsibly and call a taxi/uber, catch public transport, or arrange a designated driver so you can enjoy the day fully.

 

BY TRAM:
We're just a short walk from the last stop on the Tram Line - just jump off at the Entertainment Centre. When you get on within the CBD your journey to Plant 4 is FREE.

BY BUS:
Bus stops service the Bowden area frequently & there are plenty of routes depending where you are. You can determine your route here
 
BY TRAIN:
The Bowden Train Station is a stone’s throw from Plant 4, connected by the Grange and Outer Harbour lines. For Train info - click here
 
BY CAR:
If you're driving, check out the map here for potential parking spots. 
Carpooling is always cool in our books. 
 

 

Is the event wheel chair accessible friendly?

Plant 3 and 4 have lifts in both venues, and wheelchair friendly bathrooms.
